There is no ‘best’ way to cook salmon, as each method of cooking provides something different in terms of both flavour and texture. If you like your salmon crispy, it is best to pan fry it or use the air fryer, whereas if you like it super soft, moist and flakey, it’s better to bake it inside foil, or steam it to your liking.

The calories in salmon completely depends on how much salmon you use. In an average HelloFresh dish, we use around 100-150 grams per person, which is around 200-250 calories.
Can you cook salmon from frozen?
Yes, you can cook salmon from frozen, making it a highly convenient meat to have in your freezer. There are lots of different ways to cook salmon from frozen, including pan frying, oven roasting and even air frying.To make sure that the salmon fillet is ready to eat safely, you can use a fish thermometer to check the internal temperature. Around 45-50°C / 110-125F is the optimum temperature.
