Cooking Steps

Soak the Oats
1
  • Mix together oats, honey and yoghurt in a bowl.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for a minimum of 4 hrs).
  • Meanwhile, place a pan over medium heat (no oil).
  • Once hot, dry-fry the flaked almonds, stirring regularly, until lightly toasted, 3-4 mins.
  • Remove from the pan and set aside.
Prep the Rest
2
  • Halve the kiwi and use a spoon to scoop out the flesh. Cut into 2cm chunks.
  • Reserve a few blueberries. Once the oats are soaked combine with the remaining blueberries. Blend until smooth.
  • To make your smoothie colder and thicker, blend in a few ice cubes.
  • If you like your smoothie a little sweeter, add sugar to taste.
3
  • Divide your smoothie between bowls.
  • Garnish with the chopped kiwi, almonds and reserved blueberries.
